Lionel Messi sends personalized shirts to Obama’s daughters

Messi
As I predicted in this blog some days ago, Lionel Messi has sent signed and personalized Argentina shirts to the daughters of US President Barack Obama.
(see link)
OMG! Obama can’t arrange a meeting with Messi for ...
While on a trip to Argentina, Obama had disclosed that his daughters Malia and Sasha wanted to meet the World Footballer of the Year. But Obama, the leader of the free world, couldn’t pull it off.
Messi, who was in training camp with the Argentina national team at the time, had no inkling of the “plot.” He said if only the President had asked him, he would have loved to meet with the first family of the United States.
"Obviously, I was surprised that he [Obama] said that, but on the contrary, for me it would be completely the opposite," Messi told TyC Sports.
"For me it would be a source of great pride to be able to meet him and his daughters, but obviously I know it would be complicated.
"I don't know whether it is possible. Maybe he made the comment because he was in Argentina but I can say I was as surprised as everyone else."
The Barcelona superstar then sent a pair of Argentina shirts to Obama's daughters with their names written on the back. Argentine President Mauricio Macri helped coordinate the exchange.
I predicted that Messi would do this sooner or later because he is down to earth, warm and friendly. In February he sent a signed Argentina jersey to Murtaza Ahmadi, a five-year-old boy from Afghanistan who had been photographed in an improvised Messi shirt made out of a plastic bag.
If he could do it for a poor and unknown Afghan boy, he would certainly do it to the beautiful daughters of the world's most powerful guy.
